Click Reticle to open the 24-hour trial setup below.
Use the standalone bookmarklet instead
⌖ Reticle bookmarklet — drag this link to your bookmarks bar, then click it on a page. This separate bookmarklet is not trial-gated.
The saved bookmark’s favicon is controlled by your browser and may remain a generic icon. Keep its name as ⌖ Reticle to show the official mark in the label; the tab icon does not transfer to the bookmarklet.
Activate your 24-hour trial
Install the extension, then click its ⌖ icon to open the activation page. Choose Continue with Google; sign in with a verified Google account. The clock starts only after the server confirms activation. Reinstalling with the same account keeps its original expiry. Return to your webpage and open Reticle to see your live countdown.
Why Google? It helps us give each person one fair 24-hour trial. You sign in on Google’s own page—Reticle never sees your password. We check that your account is verified, but don’t save your email, name or Google sign-in tokens. We keep only a hashed account ID, trial dates and an installation ID so reinstalling doesn’t reset the clock. No Gmail, Drive or Contacts access. Your page captures stay on your device.
Already installed? Open Reticle’s Extension options from its toolbar menu to start your trial or enter a lifetime license key.
Install Reticle with its official toolbar icon
Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.
Click Load unpacked here to download the extension pack. Extract the ZIP, then click Load unpacked in Chrome and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
Open Chrome’s extensions menu and pin Reticle. Click its ⌖ icon on the page you want to inspect.
Keyboard only: press Ctrl+Shift+X to activate or deactivate Reticle. Customize it in chrome://extensions/shortcuts, or open Reticle’s extension options and choose Configure shortcut. If the shortcut is unassigned, choose an unused key combination. Deactivation clears the current selection and element instructions.
The extension runs on your current page without navigating away. It requests temporary access when clicked, with no analytics. First use offers a free 24-hour trial or lifetime license activation; Google sign-in and licensing use network requests; page captures stay local. Browser pages and extension-store pages restrict access.

Explore every extension feature for 24 hours from the moment you start your trial. No card, no automatic charge.
Manual MariBank payment · Unique key delivered by email after verification.
MariBank payment · ₱99 lifetime license
The receiving QR is being prepared. Please contact us before paying. The price is ₱99, paid once for lifetime access on one installation.
After payment is verified, your unique license key is sent privately by email. Delivery is manual, not instant. Send only the transaction reference, date and amount; never share bank passwords, PINs or OTPs.
Refund policy · Technical problems only
If a technical problem prevents Reticle from working, request a refund through the same sales channel that supplied your license. Refund requests are reviewed manually; this page does not process or issue refunds.
Provide your purchase reference, purchase date, browser/version, and a description of the problem.
Include the error message and steps to reproduce it. Remove personal information from screenshots. Do not send your license key, passwords or captured page reports.
MATOBIK will review the issue and work with you on troubleshooting. If the technical problem cannot be resolved, the purchase is eligible for a refund.
Change-of-mind requests are not covered by this policy. The free 24-hour trial lets you check compatibility before buying. This policy does not limit rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
For payment, support, privacy or refund questions, email arnoldpaultamayo@gmail.com. No automatic approval or processing time is promised.
The trial ends automatically and requires a license to continue. A lifetime license has no scheduled subscription expiry; periodic online validation is still required. The extension connects to Reticle’s hosted licensing service for activation and validation. Page captures stay on your device.
From the page you see to context an AI can use.
Reticle is a visual browser tool for describing changes to existing interfaces. It reads the rendered page and packages selected elements with your instructions. It does not edit your source files or call an AI: you review the output, copy it, and paste it into your chosen assistant.
Install and activate. Download the extension ZIP, extract it, enable Developer mode in brave://extensions or chrome://extensions, and load the extracted folder. Start the trial or enter your license key.
Open on your target page. Click the pinned Reticle icon or use Ctrl+Shift+X. Change conflicting shortcuts in your browser's extension shortcut settings.
Select precisely. Click an element; Shift-click to add more, or drag a marquee over an area. Arrow keys navigate parents, children, and siblings. Use undo to reverse a selection change, pause to interact with the page normally, or Esc to clear.
Describe the requested change. Enter instructions for each selected element. Global instructions in Settings apply to the whole task; element instructions apply to their target. Typing in Reticle fields keeps its own shortcuts from interrupting text entry.
Shape the prompt. Choose a task, target AI, Markdown/XML/JSON, constraints and expected response. Save named presets and cycle between them. Review the live preview before copying.
Paste and build. Copy the prompt to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another assistant. Reticle supplies selectors, readable locators, geometry, and React component/source details when the page exposes them. Your assistant still needs access to your project.
What the copied prompt contains
Global instructions, ROLE, TASK, PAGE CONTEXT, SELECTED ELEMENTS, CONSTRAINTS and EXPECTED OUTPUT. Each element includes its selector, locator, available source location, React information and your instruction. Deep Capture adds the optional replication report within this structure.
Task: Restyle/UI change
Selected element: button.primary
Instruction: Keep the action accessible and use the mint accent.
Constraints: Don't change unrelated files.
Expected output: Plan first, then show the diff.
Copy prompt, Markdown and screenshot
Copy prompt follows your chosen template format. Copy as Markdown produces Markdown output. Screenshot copies a PNG of the visible selected element, without the Reticle panel. Multiple selections retain their relative positions in one PNG, with unselected gaps made transparent. Offscreen content is not captured. The extension captures directly; the optional bookmarklet requires permission to share the current tab.
Controls, saved settings and limits
Pause/resume lets you switch between inspection and normal page use. Closing Reticle clears selections and element instructions. Template settings and presets remain in the page origin's localStorage; they are not synchronized between websites. Screenshot support depends on clipboard permissions. Restricted browser/store pages, inaccessible frames, cross-origin stylesheets and site security policies can limit capture. Production React builds often omit source locations.
Deep Capture: explain how the element is built.
Enable Deep Capture in Settings (or use its shortcut), choose the sections you need, and check their size estimates. Copy opens a preview of the report so you can inspect it for personal data before sharing.
Section
What it tells your assistant
Document context
URL, title, viewport, pixel ratio, color scheme and html/body classes.
Geometry
Bounding boxes, scroll position, stacking properties and parent flex/grid layouts.
Sanitized DOM
Selected markup with scripts, inline handlers, sensitive attributes, hidden inputs and form values removed.
Effective CSS
Computed differences from a browser-default baseline, matching rules and their stylesheet sources. Cross-origin unreadable sheets are flagged.
States
Current hover/focus/active/disabled states and detectable state/class rule candidates, without forcing states.
CSS custom properties
Referenced CSS variables and their resolved values.
Fonts
Family, size, weight, available font-face sources and document font status.
Animations
Transitions, available keyframes and runtime animation data.
Media
Image, SVG and video sources, dimensions and alternative text where available.
Framework details
React component names and source locations when exposed by the runtime.
This is a snapshot of available browser information, not the original source project or a guarantee of identical reconstruction. Some values and states cannot be discovered reliably.
Large reports and optional downloads
Above roughly 50 KB, Reticle copies a short reference prompt naming the report. Also download the full report (.md) is optional and unchecked by default. A reference alone does not supply the report to an AI; download and attach the file if your assistant needs the full captured context. The preview remains available before copying.
Privacy: you choose what to share.
This describes the current Reticle implementation.
Page captures stay on your device
Reticle reads selected page text, markup, styles, layout, media references, exposed framework details and your instructions to create the requested output. It does not upload these captures, send them to an AI, collect browsing history or run analytics. For an extension screenshot, the browser provides the visible tab image to the extension worker, which crops it locally; only the selected crop returns to the page.
Licensing is the network exception
Starting a trial opens Google sign-in with openid/email scopes and sends a random installation ID plus a short-lived verification ticket to the licensing server. Google verifies your account; Reticle checks verified-email status and stores a hashed Google account identifier to preserve trial expiry across reinstalls. It does not retain your email, name or Google tokens, and does not request Gmail, Drive or Contacts access. Paid activation sends that ID and your entered key; later validation sends a signed token. The server records trial start/expiry, key hashes and installation bindings. The service runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1. It uses a temporary hash of the connecting IP address for rate limiting and short-lived sign-in records to finish Google verification. Cloudflare also processes hosting traffic under its own privacy policies. Captured URLs, page content, screenshots and instructions are not included in these requests. No hardware fingerprint is collected.
Local storage and retention
The extension stores its installation ID and signed activation token in extension-local storage, restricted to trusted extension contexts. It does not save your raw entered key. Template settings and presets use the inspected site's localStorage. Selections and element instructions are held in memory until cleared or closed. Clipboard content and downloaded files remain under your device/browser's controls. Server trial and license records currently remain until the publisher removes them; removing the extension does not erase server records.
Review before sharing
Sanitization removes specific executable and sensitive fields, but cannot identify every personal detail in text, attributes, URLs or screenshots. Review the preview and images, avoid confidential pages, and redact sensitive content before sharing. When you paste into an AI or attach a file, that service's privacy terms apply; Reticle does not control its retention or training practices. OS clipboard synchronization can also share copied content according to your device settings.
Your controls and permissions
Choose which elements and Deep Capture sections to include; pause, clear, close, remove localStorage settings, delete downloaded files or uninstall the extension. Temporary current-tab access supports inspection and capture; scripting injects the picker, storage saves activation, identity opens Google sign-in, and the licensing-origin permission supports trial/activation requests. Browsing data is used only for the inspection features you request, consistent with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements. For licensing-record questions, contact MATOBIK through the channel that supplied your license. For privacy questions about Reticle, email arnoldpaultamayo@gmail.com.
Terms and conditions
These describe the offered extension access.
Trial. Free access lasts 24 consecutive hours from server activation for a verified Google account. Reinstalling does not restart that account’s trial. It does not renew or automatically charge you. A valid paid license is required afterward.
Price and lifetime access. The Buy me a coffee offer is ₱99 as a one-time payment for one installation. There is no scheduled subscription expiry or recurring fee. “Lifetime” does not promise perpetual hosting, compatibility with every future browser, future products or unlimited support. Periodic license-server validation is required, including after the seven-day offline token expires.
Activation and transfers. A key binds one installation; entering it again there is allowed. Another installation requires a publisher-assisted reset. Old cached access can remain valid for up to seven days after a reset. Keep your key private.
Purchases. This page does not process payment. Obtain the purchase, delivery and support details from MATOBIK before paying. Refunds are offered for unresolved technical problems under the refund policy; change-of-mind requests are not covered. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Authorized use. Inspect and share only content you are entitled to access and disclose. Respect privacy, intellectual property and site rules. You are responsible for reviewing captured information and AI-generated changes.
Limitations. Capture may be incomplete because of browser restrictions, cross-origin resources, hidden states or missing framework metadata. Reticle is a context tool and does not guarantee accurate AI output, source recovery or identical replication.
Changes. Changes to price or service terms will be described before they apply to a new purchase.
This local preview is not a launched checkout. Public contact details, production service arrangements and legal review of the refund policy and support arrangements are still needed before accepting customer payments.
